Furtob™ Eye Drops, manufactured by ENTOD Pharmaceuticals under the FUR by ENTOD veterinary range, contain Tobramycin Sulphate USP as the active ingredient — a broad-spectrum aminoglycoside antibiotic formulated as a sterile ophthalmic solution. This solution may help treat bacterial eye infections in dogs and cats, including conjunctivitis, corneal ulcers, and other external ocular infections caused by susceptible bacteria. Each pack contains 5 ml of sterile solution for topical ophthalmic use only.
Indications:
Furtob may be prescribed for bacterial eye conditions including:

Conjunctivitis (bacterial "pink eye")

Keratitis (corneal inflammation)

Blepharitis (eyelid infection)
-
External ocular infections caused by susceptible gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria
Note: Tobramycin will not treat viral infections. Always confirm the diagnosis with your veterinarian before use.
Dosage Guidelines:
The usual dosage is 1–2 drops to each affected eye every 12 hours, or as prescribed by your veterinarian.

How to apply: Wash hands before use. Gently hold your pet's eyelid open, administer the prescribed number of drops, and allow your pet to blink. Do not touch the dropper to any surface, including the surface of your pet's eye
Contraindications:
Do not use Furtob if:

Your pet has a known hypersensitivity or allergy to tobramycin or any component of the formulation

Your pet has a confirmed viral or fungal eye infection (this product targets bacteria only)

Safe use in pregnant pets or pets intended for breeding has not been proven — consult your veterinarian

Do not use if the solution has changed color, turned cloudy, or contains visible particles
Possible Side Effects:
Most pets tolerate Furtob well. Possible side effects include itching and swelling of the eyelid, as well as redness of the conjunctiva. Additionally:

Burning or irritation upon application is among the most common adverse effects

Although ophthalmic tobramycin is not a systemic drug, it is still recommended to monitor for signs like decreased appetite, lethargy, excessive drinking and urination, vomiting, and balance and coordination issues — particularly in cats
Stop use and contact your veterinarian immediately if symptoms worsen or new reactions appear.
