Etamsylate (ETHASYL-500) is a hemostatic medication used in veterinary medicine to help control and prevent bleeding in dogs and cats. This prescription medication works by strengthening capillary walls and promoting platelet adhesion, which may help reduce bleeding during surgical procedures or in conditions involving abnormal hemorrhage. Each uncoated tablet contains 500 mg of Etamsylate BP and is available in blister packs of 1x10 tablets.
Dosage Guidelines for Dogs and Cats

Contraindications

Use with caution in animals with bleeding disorders or those on anticoagulant therapy.
Common Side Effects
