Cefpet CLV 325 is a veterinary antibiotic tablet containing cefpodoxime (a third-generation cephalosporin) and potassium clavulanate (a beta-lactamase inhibitor). This combination medication is used to treat bacterial infections in dogs and cats, including skin infections, urinary tract infections, and respiratory infections. The potassium clavulanate helps prevent bacterial resistance by protecting cefpodoxime from being broken down by certain bacteria. Each tablet contains 200 mg cefpodoxime and 125 mg potassium clavulanate.
Dosage Guidelines
PRESCRIPTION REQUIRED
Dosage must be determined by your veterinarian based on your pet's weight, infection type, and severity. Typically administered every 12 hours (twice daily) with or without food. Complete the full course of treatment as directed by your veterinarian, even if symptoms improve.
