Vicycline is a water-soluble tetracycline hydrochloride antibiotic powder formulated for veterinary use in livestock and poultry. This broad-spectrum antibiotic may help treat respiratory, gastrointestinal, genital, and urinary tract infections in cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, horses, camels, and poultry.

This is a Schedule H prescription veterinary medication that must be used under the supervision of a licensed veterinary practitioner.
Composition:
- Each gram contains: Tetracycline Hydrochloride I.P. 50 mg
- Excipients: Q.S.
Pack Size: 100 grams
Primary Uses: Vicycline tetracycline may help prevent and treat bacterial, rickettsial, and viral infections including:
Indicated in large animals (cattle, sheep, goats, horses, camels) for respiratory, gastrointestinal, genital and urinary tract infections, infectious coryza, fowl cholera, white bacillary diarrhea, fowl typhoid, CRD-psittacosis (ornithosis), spirochetal infections, and secondary infections during stress, vaccination, high temperature, or transport.
Poultry: Indicated for infections following operations, wounds and delivery, retention of placenta, haemorrhagic septicaemia, black quarter, calf pneumonia and diarrhea, joint ill, strangles, contagious caprine pleuropneumonia, foot rot, acute mastitis, leptospirosis, metritis, pneumonia, and secondary infections associated with rinderpest, mucosal complex, mouth disease, and canine distemper.
Dosage Guidelines
General Administration:
- Route: Mix with drinking water
- Easy to administer
- Readily soluble
- Well-absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract
- Broad spectrum of activity
- Highly effective against bacterial, rickettsial, and viral infections
Recommended Dosage:
- Large Animals: 2–5 g per 150 kg body weight
- Small Animals: 2–10 g per kg body weight
- Mix: 2–5 g in 4–5 liters of drinking water for large animals; 2 g in 4–5 liters of drinking water for small animals
Note: Dosage may be increased or doubled in very severe infections.

Key Contraindications
- Do NOT use in animals intended for human consumption without proper withdrawal periods
- Not recommended for very young animals without veterinary guidance
