Bravecto by MSD Animal Health contains Fluralaner 250 mg per chewable tablet — a long-acting isoxazoline ectoparasiticide providing 3 months of protection against ticks and fleas with a single oral dose. Formulated as a highly palatable chewable tablet for dogs weighing >4.5–10 kg. Bravecto is a prescription veterinary medication — administer only as directed by your veterinarian.
Indications for Use
- Treatment of tick and flea infestations on dogs for 3 months
- Provides immediate and persistent killing activity against adult and juvenile ticks: Ixodes ricinus, Ixodes hexagonus, Ixodes scapularis, Ixodes holocyclus, Dermacentor reticulatus, Dermacentor variabilis and Rhipicephalus sanguineus
- Flea (Ctenocephalides felis and Ctenocephalides canis) killing activity for 3 months
- Treatment of Demodicosis caused by Demodex spp. mites
- Treatment of Sarcoptic mange and Otodectes spp. mite infestations in dogs
- Protection against transmission of Babesia canis by Dermacentor reticulatus ticks by killing ticks before disease transmission occurs
- A single treatment prevents Dipylidium caninum (Dog Tapeworm) transmission from infected fleas to susceptible dogs for 3 months
Dosage Guidelines
- Weight Range: >4.5–10 kg
- Dose: 1 chewable tablet (250 mg Fluralaner)
- Frequency: Once every 12 weeks (3 months)
- Administration: For oral use — administer at or around the time of feeding
- Minimum Age: 8 weeks and older, weighing more than 2 kg

Key Contraindications
