Virovir 250mg contains Famciclovir, an antiviral medication used in both cats and dogs to help manage herpesvirus-related infections. In cats, it may help reduce symptoms of feline herpesvirus type-1 (FHV-1) such as eye discharge, nasal congestion, and upper respiratory issues. In dogs, it may help manage canine herpesvirus (CHV-1) related conditions under veterinary guidance. This is a prescription-only medication manufactured by FDC Limited and must only be used under veterinary supervision.
Dosage:
Dosage is determined entirely by your veterinarian based on your pet's species, weight, age, and condition severity. Do not self-administer without a prescription. Each tablet contains 250mg of Famciclovir IP and comes in a pack of 6 tablets. Always follow your veterinarian's specific instructions regarding dose and duration.
