Dermiheal-G is a topical antibiotic lotion containing gentamicin sulphate for dogs and cats. This medicated lotion is used to treat bacterial skin infections, including pyoderma, hot spots, and infected wounds. Gentamicin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic that works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis to stop infection growth.
Dosage Guidelines
Application Instructions:
- Apply thin layer to affected area 2-3 times daily as directed by your veterinarian
- Clean and disinfect area before application
- Gently massage into skin until absorbed
- Continue treatment for 7-14 days or as prescribed by your veterinarian
- Use gloves during application to avoid absorption
- Prevent licking for 15-20 minutes after application
