CefPET is a prescription broad-spectrum cephalosporin antibiotic containing cefpodoxime proxetil, formulated as a dry syrup for oral administration in dogs and cats. This third-generation cephalosporin is used to treat bacterial infections susceptible to cefpodoxime. The combipack includes cefpodoxime proxetil oral suspension and sterile water for injections for reconstitution.

Each Combipack contains:

Cefpodoxime Proxetil Oral Suspension IP Each 5 ml after reconstitution contains:
- Cefpodoxime Proxetil IP eq. to Cefpodoxime: 100 mg
- Excipients: Q.S.
- Sterile Water for Injections IP: 20 ml
Ampoule: 20 ml of Sterile Water for Injections IP is provided with this pack.
Dosage Guidelines
PRESCRIPTION REQUIRED - This is a prescription medication. Use only as directed by a licensed veterinarian.
Dose: As directed by the Veterinarian.
Direction for Use
Shake bottle to loosen the granules. Slowly add Sterile Water for Injections IP upto the mark. Shake well again. Adjust the volume upto the mark by adding more boiled water if necessary. After mixing, the suspension should be stored in a refrigerator at 2-8°C and used within 6 days of preparation.
Storage: Store protected from moisture, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep container tightly closed. Shake well before use.
