Pomisol is a prescription veterinary ear drop formulation combining ofloxacin (antibiotic), clotrimazole (antifungal), betamethasone dipropionate (corticosteroid), and lignocaine (local anesthetic) for treatment of ear infections in dogs and cats. This combination medication is used to manage acute and chronic otitis externa associated with bacteria and/or fungi, while reducing inflammation and providing pain relief.
Composition (Each ml contains)
- Ofloxacin I.P.: 0.3% w/v
- Clotrimazole I.P.: 1.0% w/v
- Betamethasone Dipropionate I.P.: 0.025% w/v
- Lignocaine HCl I.P.: 2.0% w/v
- In Glycerin I.P. & Propylene Glycol I.P. Base Q.S.
Dosage Guidelines
PRESCRIPTION REQUIRED - This is a prescription medication. Use only as directed by a licensed veterinarian.
Dose: Administer 8-10 drops in each ear or as directed by the veterinarian.
Clean ear gently before application. Massage ear base after instilling drops. Do not discontinue treatment early even if symptoms improve.
Indications: Acute and chronic otitis externa associated with bacteria and/or fungi.

Contraindications
- Perforated eardrum (tympanic membrane rupture)
- Known hypersensitivity to any ingredient
- Viral ear infections
Storage and Handling
- Store in a cool and dry place
- Use the solution within one month after opening the container
- Do not touch the dropper tip to any surface since it may contaminate the solution
- Keep out of reach of children and pets
