TakfaPet is a veterinary topical spray containing tacrolimus monohydrate equivalent to tacrolimus 0.02% w/v in a lipid-based formulation. This prescription medication is used for the treatment of canine atopic dermatitis in dogs. The formulation contains tacrolimus 0.02% w/v, alpha tocopherol 0.006% w/v, and absolute alcohol 98.82% v/v. TakfaPet is manufactured by Intas Pharmaceuticals Ltd. and is available in a 50 ml spray bottle for external use only.
Dosage Guidelines
PRESCRIPTION REQUIRED
Spray liberally on the affected area twice daily until the symptoms disappear or as directed by the veterinarian. Clean and dry skin before application. Avoid contact with eyes.
