Advocate Spot-On Solution (Imidacloprid 10% w/v and Moxidectin 2.5% w/v) is a broad-spectrum topical parasiticide for extra-large dogs weighing between 25 kg and 40 kg. Each 4.0 ml tube contains 400 mg Imidacloprid and 100 mg Moxidectin, providing protection against fleas, ear mites, sarcoptic mange, demodicosis, heartworms, and gastrointestinal nematodes.
Advocate is for external use only and is available on veterinary prescription. Read the package insert carefully before use.
Composition
One 4.0 ml tube contains:
- Active substances:
- Imidacloprid — 400 mg
- Moxidectin — 100 mg
- (Imidacloprid 10% w/v and Moxidectin 2.5% w/v)
Indications
For dogs suffering from, or at risk from, mixed parasitic infections. Advocate is indicated for:
- Prevention of flea infestation (Ctenocephalides canis)
- Treatment of ear mite infestation (Otodectes cynotis)
- Treatment of sarcoptic mange (caused by Sarcoptes scabiei var. canis)
- Treatment of demodicosis (caused by Demodex canis)
- Prevention of heartworm disease (L3 and L4 larvae of Dirofilaria immitis)
- Treatment of gastrointestinal nematodes — L4 larvae, immature adults and adults of Toxocara canis, Ancylostoma caninum, Uncinaria stenocephala, adults of Toxascaris leonina and Trichuris vulpis
- Part of a treatment strategy for Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD)

Special Warnings
- Read the package insert before use.
- Do not use in puppies under 7 weeks of age.
- Consult your veterinarian before using the product on pregnant or lactating dogs, or on sick or debilitated dogs, or on dogs under 1 kg.
- Do not use Advocate for Dogs on Cats.
- Keep out of reach and sight of children.
