Conaseb (Veterinary) is a medicated antibacterial and antifungal cleansing shampoo for dogs and cats. This lipid-based formulation combines ketoconazole, chlorhexidine gluconate, and cetrimide to provide effective treatment for various skin conditions caused by susceptible fungi and bacteria.
Composition
- Ketoconazole IP: 2.0% w/v
- Chlorhexidine Gluconate Solution IP (Equivalent to Chlorhexidine Gluconate): 2.0% w/v
- Cetrimide IP: 0.1% w/v
- List of Excipients: Q.S. to lipid shampoo base
Directions for Use Wet the coat thoroughly with warm water. Apply sufficient shampoo to create a rich foam over entire coat. Allow it to remain on hair for 5 to 10 minutes and then rinse thoroughly with clean water. Use 2 to 3 times a week for initial four weeks then reduce frequency once a week or as directed by your veterinarian.
Treatment Duration: Continue treatment as advised by your veterinarian. Do not discontinue treatment prematurely even if symptoms improve.
