TTK Dr Doxy LAB 200 Doxycycline with Lactic Acid Bacillus Tablets for Dogs & Cats
TTK Dr Doxy LAB 200 is a veterinary prescription antibiotic containing Doxycycline (equivalent to 200mg) combined with Lactic Acid Bacillus, for oral use in dogs and cats only. This is a prescription medication — use only as directed by a licensed veterinarian.
Composition
- Each film-coated tablet contains: Doxycycline Hydrate IP equivalent to Doxycycline 200mg
- Lactic Acid Bacillus: 200 million spores (an appropriate overage is included to compensate for loss during storage)
- Excipients: q.s.
- Colour: Yellow oxide of iron
Indications: Doxycycline is a tetracycline-class antibiotic used by veterinarians to treat certain bacterial infections in dogs and cats. The added Lactic Acid Bacillus supports gut flora balance that can be disrupted during antibiotic treatment.
Dosage & Administration
- As directed by a veterinary practitioner. Do not adjust dosage or duration without veterinary guidance.
- Give with food or follow with water — avoid giving the tablet dry, as this may cause throat or esophageal irritation.
- Complete the full course as prescribed, even if your pet appears to improve earlier.
Warnings & Precautions
- For oral use in dogs and cats only.
- Drug Interactions: Avoid giving with antacids, dairy products, or calcium, iron, zinc, or multivitamin supplements — these can bind with doxycycline and reduce its effectiveness. Space doses at least 2 hours apart from these products.
- Caution: Avoid use in young puppies and kittens, and in pregnant or lactating animals, unless specifically directed by a veterinarian.
- Liver Monitoring: Doxycycline may elevate liver enzymes in some pets. Use with caution and under veterinary monitoring in pets with existing liver conditions.
- Photosensitivity: May increase sensitivity to sunlight; limit prolonged direct sun exposure during treatment.
- Contact your veterinarian immediately if your pet shows difficulty swallowing, persistent vomiting or diarrhoea, loss of appetite, yellowing of skin/gums, or any other concerning symptoms.
Storage: Store protected from light and moisture, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
