Gentavet Gentamicin Injection IP by Concept Pharmaceuticals Ltd is a veterinary Schedule H prescription antibiotic injection containing Gentamicin Sulphate IP equivalent to Gentamicin 40 mg per ml, formulated for intramuscular (I.M.) or intravenous (I.V.) administration in animals. It provides broad-spectrum antibacterial action for the treatment of bacterial infections in horses, cattle, dogs, goats, sheep, poultry, and other animals as directed by a veterinarian.
The formulation works by controlling susceptible bacterial growth, supporting recovery from infections affecting the respiratory, urinary, gastrointestinal, and skin systems in animals. It should always be administered under registered veterinary supervision to ensure correct dosage, appropriate treatment duration, and safe therapeutic outcomes.

Composition
Each ml contains:
- Gentamicin Sulphate IP equivalent to Gentamicin — 40 mg
- Methyl Paraben IP (as preservative) — 0.18% w/v
- Propyl Paraben IP (as preservative) — 0.02% w/v
- Water for Injection IP — q.s.
Dosage
- As directed by the Veterinarian.
- The maximum number of pricks (injections) should not exceed ten.

Withdrawal Period
- Milk: 7 Days
- Meat: 28 Days
