Introduce Your Pet to Purepet
Gradually transition your kitten over 7 days by mixing increasing proportions of Purepet Food with decreasing proportions of Current Food, moving from mostly current food on Day 1 to 100% Purepet Food by Day 7.
Feeding Recommendations
The given feeding guidelines are averages and may vary according to age, activity, size, and temperament of your pet. You can serve your pet the recommended amount by dividing it across the number of times you feed daily. Clean and fresh drinking water should be available at all times.
- 1–2 months: 30–50 g/day
- 2–4 months: 40–80 g/day
- 4–8 months: 90–100 g/day
- 8–12 months: 80–100 g/day
After weaning, it's recommended to moisten Purepet Kitten food with water to facilitate the transition from liquid to dry food. At 12 weeks of age, gradually decrease the amount of liquid added so they're eating pure dry food by 24 weeks of age. Feed kittens 4–5 times daily until 24 weeks of age. Change to Purepet Cat food after 12 months old.
