Veko Kick-Ulcer, 6.15g Syringe Omeprazole 37% Oral Paste for Horses – Treats & Prevents Gastric Ulcers
Veko Kick-Ulcer Oral Paste is a Schedule H prescription-only veterinary medication containing Omeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor formulated with enhanced bioavailability for the treatment and prevention of recurrence of gastric ulcers in horses and foals 4 weeks of age and older. This is a prescription medication and must be used only as directed by a licensed veterinary practitioner.
Composition:
- Each gram contains: Omeprazole IP 370 mg

Target Animal: Horses
Indications: For the treatment and prevention of recurrence of gastric ulcers in horses and foals, 4 weeks of age and older.
Dosage & Administration:
- Treatment: 4 mg per kg (1.8 mg/lb) body weight per day for 4 weeks
- Prevention: 2 mg per kg (0.9 mg/lb) body weight per day for 4 weeks
To be administered only under veterinary guidance. Do not adjust dosage without consulting a registered veterinary practitioner.
Withdrawal Period:
- Horse — Meat and Offal: 1 day
- Not permitted for use in mares producing milk for human consumption
